PURPOSE: A side airbag cushion is provided to smoothly deploy a pelvis protection part through a gas distribution partition even through the lower end of a door trim is interfered with the lower end of a seat during crashing. CONSTITUTION: A side airbag cushion comprises a chest protection part, a pelvis protection part, and a gas distributing partition(300). The chest protection part and pelvis protection part are expanded by gas generated from an inflator. The gas distributing partition has a blocked side part(310) and upper and lower openings(320,330). The upper and lower openings are opened upward and downward and respectively distribute the gas to the chest protection part and the pelvis protection part. In order to locate the lower opening in the lower part of the pelvis protection part, the length of the gas distributing partition is extended downward. The center part of the side part is vertically recessed and folded. |
