<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus where the tilt of a roll medium in a feeding direction is taken into consideration when the roll medium is set. <P>SOLUTION: The recording apparatus (1) includes: a first holder 3 that can feed the roll medium R downward in the feeding direction; a recording part 28 where the roll medium R, which is conveyed, is recorded; and a second holder 40 that winds the recorded roll medium R. At least one of the first holer 3 and the second holder 40 is configured to be movable in a width direction X with respect to the feeding direction Q of the roll medium R. One mark M1 by which a side position of the roll medium R can be confirmed in the width direction X is provided at a different position in the feeding direction Q on a feeding path A of the roll medium R and a width direction side.
