PURPOSE: A pipe machining device is provided to quickly and precisely cut the cutting plane of a pipe with crossing cutting edges according to the actuation of a punch with a punch actuating means. CONSTITUTION: A pipe machining device(10) includes a main body frame(12), a dies holder(20), dies(25), punches(30,30a), and punch actuating means. The dies holder is attached to the front middle portion of the main body frame. A guide groove(24) is vertically formed at the side of the dies holder. The dies are equipped in the front of the dies holder, and has a protrusive portion(26) of which the upper and the lower portion are equipped with cutting edges(27,27a). The cutting plane(C) of a pipe(B) is inserted into the protrusive portion. Cutting edges(33) are formed inside the concave portions(32) of the internal sides of punches. The upper and the lower portion of the dies are inserted into and assembled in the punches, and then the punches are actuated along the guide groove so that the cutting edges(33) and the cutting edges are vertically crossed in order to cut the pipe. The punch actuating means are equipped in the upper and the lower portion of the main body frame and actuate the punches so that the punches implement a reciprocating motion in a straight line. The diameter of the protrusive portion is formed in response to the size of the pipe. The dies is inserted into and assembled in a groove portion(22) which is formed at the front of the dies holder. |
