A radiator valve assembly comprises a main housing (1) having a screw- threaded component-receiving union (2), a supply passage (3) extending substantially axially with respect to the union (2), and at least one outlet passage (4, 5) branching off between the union (2) and the supply passage (3), and a second, valve insert, housing (6) having a bore (8), an inlet nipple (9) extending 37 substantially axially with respect to the bore (8) and projecting into the supply passage (3), at least one radially-arranged outlet opening (10) and an external screwthread (11) for screwing the valve insert housing (6) into the screw-threaded union (2), the end of the bore (8) in the valve insert housing (6) being provided with a valve seat (12) located between the inlet nipple (9) and the outlet opening (10) and an axially-movable closure element (13) co-operating, in use, with the seat (12), wherein the size of the outlet aperture (10) is adjustable by means of a pre-setting insert (14). <IMAGE>
