PURPOSE: A wind direction controlling diffuser is provided to improve air conditioning efficiency by diffusing air with moving down a cone in cooling and by moving up the cone in heating, and to reduce energy consumption by forming rising airflow around the ceiling and discharging in heating. CONSTITUTION: A motor fixing bracket is combined with a neck(1) of a diffuser by a rivet, and a motor(9) is assembled with the motor fixing bracket. A gear fixing frame is connected to the neck of the diffuser by a fixing bar(5) to place a spur gear(6), and a bushing is inserted to the gear fixing frame to rotate the spur gear actively. A driving shaft(10) of the spur gear is combined with a fixing bolt to rotate axially. A rubber packing is mounted between a rack gear(7) and the gear fixing frame to prevent frictional noise and vibration. A nut is fixed in the rear part of the rack gear, and a height adjustable bolt(2) of a cone(3) is inserted. The rack gear is moved up and down with turning the spur gear in rotating the driving shaft, and wind direction is adjusted with moving up and down the cone.
