<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disease determination apparatus and disease determination method for determining the presence/absence of a disease even with a non-invasive manner by utilizing an existing ultrasonic image forming apparatus to form the image of an organ, etc., extracting a feature amount from the image, and analyzing the extracted feature amount. <P>SOLUTION: The disease determination apparatus includes: a probe for irradiating a target organ with an ultrasonic wave and acquiring information of reflection sound; and the ultrasonic image forming apparatus to which the probe is connected and which acquires the internal tomographic image of a measurement object. The disease determination apparatus extracts a parts of the contour of the organ being the measurement object from the image acquired by the image forming apparatus, newly defines a feature amount expressing energy by the autonomous motion of the organ, synthetically analyzes the obtained feature amount, and analyzes an index expressing motility to determine the normality/abnormality of an organ function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
