The invention relates to converters of light radiation energy into electrical energy, and it can be used in manufacturing high-efficiency elements for solar batteries. The offered converter of incoming light radiation energy into electrical have a high efficiency (up to 85%), and it comprises a single-crystal silicon wafer (1) having a light-sensitive layer in the form of a p-n or n-p junction barrier (2) that lies at a depth of 120-180 nm beneath the front surface of said single-crystal silicon wafer (1) and metal nanoparticles (3) implanted at a depth of 80-120 nm beneath the front surface of said single-crystal silicon wafer (1) (the location of the implantation thereof is schematically shown with a dash-line).
