<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush capable of illuminating a brush part more brightly. <P>SOLUTION: The electric toothbrush 1 includes a body case 22 for housing a battery 29, and an attachment 60 having the brush part 62 in which brush bristles 61 are implanted. The body case 22 has an attachment shaft 32 for fitting the attachment 60.
