<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding device for a shaft-like component capable of exactly swinging the holder of the shaft-like component by a simple action. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the device for the shaft-like component which relatively inserts the shaft-like component 1 into a reception hole 7 by advancing an electrode 5 having the reception hole 7 to the shaft-like component 1 standing by at a predetermined position and carries out electric resistance welding to steel sheet components 8. The holder 14 of the shaft-like component 1 is mounted to a supply rod 10 in such a way as to swing to the advancing direction side of the electrode 5, the tip part of the shaft-like component 1 that is inserted into the reception hole 7 and is integrated with the electrode 5 by the advancing action of the electrode 5 swings the holder 14 while rubbing the holding face 25 of the holder 14, and is configured to allow the shaft-like component 1 to reach each of the steel sheet components 8.
