<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood which allows easy and safe maintenance of the inside of a casing and cleaning of a rectifier. <P>SOLUTION: The range hood 1 is provided with: a detector 10 detecting whether or not a rectifier 8 is located in a use position or in a non-use position; and a controller 5 that performs normal mode control when detecting that the rectifier 8 is set in the use position, stops the operation of an exhaust fan 4 by performing non-use mode control when detecting that the rectifier 8 is in the non-use position, keeps stopping the exhaust fan 4 even when a start command of the exhaust fan 4 is input, and keeps stopping the exhaust fan 4 until the start command of the exhaust fan 4 is input even when detecting that the rectifier 8 is in the use position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
