<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disassembly method for a fuel cell that can prevent fuel and by-products therein from volatilizing into the air while enhancing the working efficiency in disassembling. <P>SOLUTION: In the disassembly method for a fuel cell 1, a membrane electrode assembly 2, an anode side diffusion layer 8, and a cathode side diffusion layer 9 are immersed in a cleaning solution before detachment of a fuel supplier 3 and an air supplier 4 from a unit cell 16 makes the anode side diffusion layer 8 and the cathode side diffusion layer 9 exposed. The volatilization of fuel and by-products into the air is thus prevented because the membrane electrode assembly 2, the anode side diffusion layer 8, and the cathode side diffusion layer 9 are not exposed to the air. Moreover, the immersion in the cleaning solution facilitates the detachment of a sealant. This enhances the working efficiency in disassembling the fuel cell 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
