<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a vehicle capable of precisely estimating a dazzling degree that is applied to a driver of other vehicle which is in front of an own vehicle by lighting from a headlamp of the own vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device for a vehicle includes a headlamp for lighting the front area of the own vehicle, and a processing device. The processing device estimates a dazzling degree that is applied to a driver of other vehicle by lighting from a headlamp of the own vehicle, based on the distance from the own vehicle to the other vehicle in front of the own vehicle, the direction of the other vehicle relative to the own vehicle, and the angle which is formed between the direction of the other vehicle and the advancing direction of the other vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
