<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire whose weight is reduced and a method for molding the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for molding the pneumatic tire, a carcass ply is arranged on a molding drum, bead cores are arranged at both ends of the carcass ply, both ends of the carcass ply are folded back along the peripheral surface of the bead cores and are wrapped around the bead cores, first rubber chafers are arranged on the carcass ply wrapped around the bead cores, and second rubber chafers which cover the first rubber chafers and extend up to the carcass ply on the molding drum are arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
