PURPOSE: A bulletproof material and a bulletproof cloth using the same are provided to reduce weight and secure high bullet proof performance by adding fumed type inorganic particles into STF(Shear Thickening Fluid). CONSTITUTION: A bulletproof material comprises fiber elements and STF. The fiber element is composed of high strength yarns. The STF is impregnated in the fiber. The STF comprises fumed type materials and dispersion solvent. The fiber elements are impregnated into the STF in 10 to 80wt.% of the fiber elements.
