PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to increase accuracy of detected value and to know inner mechanical state by detecting inner pressure change. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises an electrode assembly(10) comprising an electrode on both sides of a separator; a case(20) accepting the electrode assembly(10); a cap plate(30) combined with an opening of the case; an electrode terminals(41,42) forming a through-hole(421) inside and outside the case electrically connected to the electrode assembly by being installed with a terminal hole of the cap plate; and a piezoelectric element(71) installed in the through-hole, detecting inner pressure change of the case and transferring signals to outside the case.
