PURPOSE: A color hologram playing device and a method thereof are provided to comprise a LCD module in order of a white light source unit, a color filter and a LCD panel, thereby implementing a flat type holographic full color display. CONSTITUTION: A white light source unit(400) irradiates light which is mutually parallel. A color filter performs color filtering about light irradiated from the white light source unit. A LCD panel includes segments composed of pixels. The pixels optically modulate the light irradiated from the color filter and expresses R, G, or B. The color filter is composed of R, G, and B filter. The segments have a square, a rectangular or a circular shape. [Reference numerals] (400) White light source unit
