<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens material injection apparatus for a plastic lens mold capable of supporting a mold without deforming a tape and capable of accurately inserting an injection nozzle in an injection port. <P>SOLUTION: The lens material injection apparatus includes a support device 41 for supporting the plastic lens mold 2 composed of a mold assembly 3 and an injection auxiliary member 4, and an injection apparatus body 43 for injecting a plastic lens material in the plastic lens mold 2. The support device 41 supports the injection auxiliary member 4 so that the through-hole thereof is upwardly directed.
