FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular to fuel tanks of vehicles protected against inflammation and explosion. Fuel tank comprises body (1), made of two interconnected parts (2; 3). In the upper part (2) of body (1), filling neck (4) and drainage hole (5) are located, and in the lower part (3) of body (1), branch pipe (6) for fuel draining. Inside the body (1), separating device is fixed to separate fuel from air (7), which is made of elastic oil-and-petrol resistant material. Separating device is made as two reservoirs forming air (20) and fuel (21) cavities. In this structure, branch pipe (22) of hole (21) of air reservoir (20) is connected with drainage hole (5), and the first (24) and the second (25) additional holes with branch pipes (26; 27) of fuel reservoir (21) are connected with filling neck (4) and branch pipe (6) of fuel draining of fuel tank respectively. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability of fuel tank operation due to reducing fuel-air mixture formation over fuel level in fuel tank. ^ 4 dwg |
