CONSTITUENT PARTS AND METHOD FOR FORMING AND TESTING ELECTRO-OPTICAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a favorable electro-optical display device and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: A front plane laminate 10 being useful for the manufacture of an electro-optical display device comprises in order: a light transmission electrical conductive layer 14; an electro-optical medium layer 16 connected electrically with the electrical conductive layer 14; an adhesive layer 26; and a peeling sheet 28. This front plane laminate 10 can be prepared as a continuous web and is cut to certain size. The peeling sheet 28 is removed, and the laminate 10 is laminated on a backplane to manufacture the display device. This invention also refers to a method for providing electrical conductive bias passing through an electro-optical medium and a method for testing the front plane laminate.
