<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sinker that can relieve the twist of a fishline, and reducing the occurrence of snagging. <P>SOLUTION: The swivel member-storing type sinker for fishing is constituted as follows. A hollow hole 4 is formed in the sinker 1, and a passing hole 5 through which the fishline can be passed from the center axis of a head part 2 to the hollow hole 4 is also formed. A swivel member 6 is movably attached to the hollow hole 4 so that the swivel member 6 may face to the lower end of the passing hole 5. The height of the hollow hole 4 is regulated so that a line eye 6a of the swivel member 6 may not contact with the lower end of the passing hole 5. The fishline is passed through the passing hole 5, and connected to the line eye 6a.
