<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an organic light emitting element with long life at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The organic light emitting element has a plurality of laminated organic compound layers including a first light-emitting layer and a second light-emitting layer between an anode and a cathode. The first light-emitting layer includes a first charge transporting compound and a first luminescent compound, and the second light-emitting layer includes a second charge transporting compound and a second luminescent compound. The first luminescent compound has a light-emitting maximum wavelength in a wavelength range of 440-500 nm in a light emission spectrum, and the second luminescent compound has a light-emitting maximum wavelength in a wavelength range of 510-650 nm in a light emission spectrum. The first charge transporting compound contains chlorine atoms or the like originating in a specified impurity with a concentration of less than 50 ppm, and the second charge transporting compound contains chlorine atoms or the like originating in a specified impurity with a concentration of 50-500 ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
