<p>PURPOSE: An air conditioning system and a control method thereof are provided to perform rapid cooling and heating by automatically controlling the air conditioning system according to a heat source. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system comprises a heat sensing unit, a communication module, and an indoor unit. The heat sensing unit collects the information of one or more heat sources detected in an air conditioning space. The communication module receives the heat source information by communicated with the heat sensing unit. The indoor unit comprises vanes and a control unit. The vanes open/close a hole for exhausting air. The control unit controls the opening of vanes based on the information about the received heat source information and the opening angle of the selected vane for controlling the quantity of air flow.
