<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable support structure for a large vertical wind turbine that can endure an impact of an earthquake and wind. <P>SOLUTION: Two wire cables are stretched between two towers, and the wires are nearly orthogonally crossed at a point near the maximum deflection point between the towers. A cable band for tying the two wire cables in a crossed state is provided at the crossing point, and suspension wire ropes hung from the cable band and at least three wire ropes for attitude stabilization with lower ends thereof connected to anchors on the ground are used to place a rotor in a state of being suspended in the air while stabilized in its attitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
