PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently acquire image data corresponding to a file format when acquiring image data for displaying on a computer from a communication device. SOLUTION: A computer acquires file format information of an image file stored in a communication device. When a display request of image data is made from a user, the computer selects whether to request all regions of the file or to request by designating a specific region of the file corresponding to the acquired file format.
