<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradation conversion method and a gradation conversion device for coping with speeding-up with a simple circuit configuration and making a noise pattern due to error diffusion inconspicuous in both a still image and a moving image. <P>SOLUTION: Error diffusion based on multiplication coefficients having the same arrangement is performed for each of left-eye and right-eye images of the same frame, the arrangement of the multiplication coefficients is changed according to update of the frame, and the series of changes is repeated with a predetermined number of frames being one period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
