PRINTING MACHINE, AND PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a printing device or a size of an entire printing machine in the printing machine and a printing method.

SOLUTION: The printing machine includes: a paper feed device R which feeds a web W; the printing device U which performs printing on the web W delivered from the paper feed device R by using a plate cylinder 12 and a blanket cylinder 13; a folding machine F which cuts the web W on which printing is carried out by the printing device U, and overlaps and folds to form a newspaper. A circumferential length of the plate cylinder 12 is set to be an approximate integral multiple of a size of a broad type newspaper in a longitudinal direction.
