<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively make advantage of a map page of an electronic book. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic book device displaying an electronic book comprises storage parts 21, 23 and 25 for storing, respectively, electronic book information including image data unifying a page map which is a map posted on a map page, and an accompanying figure; map page information in which information related to a map range, scale and a map page of the page map is associated with each other; and figure accompanied range information indicating a map range whose display is covered by an accompanying figure in the map range of the page map. The electronic book device determines the present position of a user A, retrieves map page information indicating a map range including the present position, selects map page information for which the corresponding page map has a large scale; determines whether or not to display the page in response to determination that a position corresponding to the present position is hidden by an accompanying figure; and displays the page map on a display screen according to the electronic book information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
