METHOD FOR TOTAL INTRAVENOUS ANESTHESIA WITH PROPOFOL

A method for the total intravenous anesthesia with Propofol consists in changing diffusion rate for maintaining anesthesia following the initial dose. Within the first 30 minutes of surgery, the infusion rate is 2.5 mg/kg/h. Then the rate is changed to 3-4 mg/kg/h with termination of infusion 5 minutes before the end of then surgery.
