<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to control use of functions more easily than before, even when a driver has been updated. <P>SOLUTION: An old driver for controlling an image formation device 1 used in a terminal device 2 is updated to a new driver as follows. A driver which makes the terminal device 2 execute; reading processing which reads setting data showing contents of customization about use of functions of the image formation device 1, used in the old driver from a specific location; and restriction processing for restricting the functions of the image formation device 1 based on the read setting data, is provided.
