<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pit that sediment settles in and a vacuum truck vacuums thereby saving time and efforts required for cleaning, and that solves the problem in conventional ditch cleaning in which the vacuum truck is used to vacuum sediment settling in the ditch, but cleaning along hundreds of meters is hard work. <P>SOLUTION: In the pit, a hole (2) is dug in a channel (1) to collect sediment (4) mixed in water (3) into the hole (2).
