POLYSULFONE-BASED HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE, HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE FOR CLEANING PLATELET SUSPENSION, AND CLEANING METHOD OF PLATELET SUSPENSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method for a platelet formulation to enable plasma included in the platelet formulation to be removed and efficiently acquire the platelet formulation with high safety, and polysulfone-based hollow fiber membrane and hollow fiber membrane module used therefor.

SOLUTION: An outer surface and an inner surface of the polysulfone-based hollow fiber membrane include a hydrophilic polymer. The average pore diameter of pores existing in the outer surface is equal to or lower than 2 μm. The existence rate of the hydrophilic polymer in the outer surface is 25-60 mass%. The existence rate of the hydrophilic polymer in the inner surface is 30-60 mass%.
