The orthodontic bracket (1) has a main bracket body (5), an arch wire slot (4) formed on the main bracket body (5), a closeable arch wire locking cover (6), and a closeable cover-connecting part (7) that is connected to the main bracket body (5) to allow the closeable cover (6) to slide and rotate. The closeable cover (6) can be moved along a movement path having: a closed position (6A) wherein the cover engages with the main bracket body (5), sealing the arch wire slot (4); an engagement-releasing position (6B) wherein the cover slides from the closed position (6A) and the engagement with the main bracket body (5) is released; and an open position (6C) wherein the cover rotates from the engagement-releasing position (6B) and opens the arch wire slot (4). The closeable wire-locking cover (6) closes securely, does not open unintentionally, and opening and closing operations are simple. |
