<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and a display control method capable of displaying a favorable character image depending on the voice of a video content. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises: receiving means; and output means. The receiving means receives video data containing character images and voice data corresponding to the video data. The output means outputs first and second images based on the received character images and having parallax corresponding to the sound volume level of the received voice data.
