<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tyrosinase activity inhibitor, a melanin production inhibitor and a beautifying and whitening agent, and a cosmetic, a food and drink composition and a pharmaceutical composition that are each superior in preventing and treating effects on skin spots, freckles and pigmentation after sunburn caused by ageing, ultraviolet rays and the like in a daily life and are each more stable than conventional ones. <P>SOLUTION: The tyrosinase activity inhibitor, the melanin production inhibitor and the beautifying and whitening agent each comprise fructosyl-citrulline as an active ingredient.
