PURPOSE: A sound absorbing panel using a gypsum composite panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve sound absorbing and soundproof effects by welding a nonwoven fabric to the surface of rear holes formed on gypsum boards. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a sound absorbing panel using a gypsum composite panel is as follows. Epoxy adhesive(11) is spread on both surfaces of an MDF or plywood(10). Gypsum boards(12,12a) are attached on both surfaces of the MDF or plywood through the epoxy adhesive. A gypsum composite panel(100) is formed by coating a surface treatment part(13) formed on the top of the gypsum board with water paint. Upper and lower grooves(17,17a) are formed on the front and rear surfaces of the gypsum composite panel. Rear holes(15) penetrating through the upper grooves are formed on the gypsum composite panel. A nonwoven fabric(16) is welded to the surface of the rear holes and the lower grooves.
