The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and mining industry, particularly to structures of roller briquetting presses, and can be used for manufacture of briquettes from small fraction raw materials and metallurgical wastes, coal dust and other materials. A roller briquetting press comprises a drive and back-to-back rotating rollers installed in bearing supports, whose working surfaces are made in the form of alternating rows of annular grooves and annular projections with cells separated from each other by ridges, wherein the ridges with cells of one roll enter in the annular grooves of another, and the centers of radii describing the contours of cells and annular grooves are shifted relative to each other for a distance s = 1.0- to form on the center line of the rollers of closed cavities to form briquettes. Technical result consists in reduction of loss of material during briquetting in the form of spills and flash on the surface of briquettes. |
