Provided are: a tire having excellent strength, low heat-generating properties and wet grip properties; a rubber composition which can be used suitably for providing the tire; and a conjugated diene rubber. This conjugated diene rubber is produced from a conjugated diene polymer chain of which one terminal is an active terminal and which has, at least on the side of the other terminal thereof, an isoprene block containing an isoprene monomer unit in an amount of 70 wt% or more, wherein the active terminal in at least a part of the conjugated diene polymer chain is modified with a compound having a group >C=O as a functional group.
