<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating element capable of efficiently emitting well-balanced ions by restraining disappearance of generated ions, and an electric apparatus provided with the ion generating element. <P>SOLUTION: In an ion generating element according to the present invention, one of a plus discharge section and a minus discharge section is a printed electrode, and the other is a needle electrode. The plus discharge section and the minus discharge section are arranged along an air blowing direction to be separated at a predetermined interval in such a way that insulation is secured between the both discharge sections. The printed electrode has a pair of a discharge electrode and an induction electrode which are provided to sandwich a dielectric body. The discharge electrode includes a discharging portion causing electric discharge, and a conducting portion having the same voltage as the discharging portion. The conducting portion is arranged between the discharging portion and the other discharge section emitting ions with a polarity reverse to that of the discharging portion, and repulses ions generated from the discharging portion to suppress the ions from reaching the other discharge section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
