PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing lornoxicam and bucillamine for treating arthritis is provided to ensure anti-inflammation and to suppress writhing syndrome in a mouse. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating arthritis contains lornoxicam and bucilamine in a weight ratio of 1:10-40, and also contains pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The arthritis includes rheumatic arthritis, osteroarthritis, or degenerative arthritis. The composition for arthritis is used in the form of soft and hard capsule, tablet, film-coated tablet, enteric tablet, powder, suspension, or injection.
