<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of removing a toner stuck to a separation claw for separating a printing medium from a roller of a fixing roller pair. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing roller pair 11 fixes the toner to a sheet. A separation claw 16a comes into contact with a heating roller 12 of the fixing roller pair 11 so as to separate the sheet passing through the fixing roller pair 11 from the heating roller 12. A cam 20a and a stepping motor move the separation claw 16a between a first position of the separation claw 16a when coming into contact with the heating roller 12 and a second position of the separation claw 16a when not coming into contact with the heating roller 12. When the separation claw 16a is made to move from the first position to the second position, a removing member 22a comes into contact with the separation claw 16a from a region A side where the sheet passes through with respect to the separation claw 16a, so as to remove the toner stuck to the separation claw 16a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
