<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rib height measuring device and a method for measuring the rib height highly accurately measuring the rib height. <P>SOLUTION: This rib height measuring device for measuring the rib height of the checkered steel plate includes: a spindle having a measuring element at the tip end; a stem inside which the spindle slidingly move; a display section converting the movement of the spindle into a distance; and a base for supporting the stem. The base includes, at the lower part thereof, an inverse-U-shaped opened leg part straddling over one rib of the checkered steel plate, and the lower surface of the leg section comes into parallel and plane contact with a base material surface of the checkered steel plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
