摘要 PURPOSE: A steering force compensating method according to the height change of a car by using an electric power steering device is provided to offer compensating steering force for the change of the center of gravity by using an electric power steering device for controlling a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A steering force compensating method using an electric power steering device is composed as follows. The ECU(Electrical Control Unit) of an electric power steering device is receives TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) information signal. The ECU(Electrical Control Unit) detects the change of tire pressure based on the TPMS information. The change not detected, the ECU receives a G-sensor signal. The ECU detects incline based on the G-sensor signal. The incline detected, the ECU receives height sensor signal. The ECU recognizes the height difference of a front wheel and a rear wheel and detects the change of the center of gravity of a car. In case of the change of the center of gravity of a car is detected, the ECU calculates the change of the center of gravity of a car based on the TPMS information signal, G-sensor signal, and the height sensor signal. The ECU controls a motor based on the change of the center of gravity of a car.
