PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus which is equipped with an adaptability index map generator to generate multiple kinds of adaptability index maps respectively corresponding to multiple kinds of perfusion models, so as to support improving the accuracy of diagnosis by perfusion analysis.

SOLUTION: The medical image processing apparatus handles data on a series of medical image relating to a subject. A time-concentration curve generator 121 generates a plurality of time-concentration curves respectively corresponding to a plurality of pixels from the series of medical images. A approximation processor 123 approximate a convolution of a specific time-density curve among the multiple time-concentration curves and the respective perfusion models of the multiple kinds with respect to the respective time-concentration curves of the multiple kinds along with the adjustment of at least one parameter which each of the perfusion models has. The adaptability index map generator 124 generates the multiple kinds of adaptability index maps respectively corresponding to the multiple kinds of perfusion models based on a plurality of approximation errors respectively corresponding to the multiple pixels given by the approximation processor.
