摘要 The present disclosure discloses a layered encoding method for a Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code. The method comprises: determining, according to the structure characteristics of a check-bit matrix part H p of a check matrix H, location information of a check bit corresponding to a layered operation mode in an code word of an LDPC code and row information in H corresponding to the location information; obtaining, according to the determined location information and the corresponding row information, the value of the check bit corresponding to the location information by using the layered operation mode, and updating the code word according to the obtained value of the check bit; executing LU decomposition to a remaining check matrix H t corresponding to a remaining check bit to be determined, to obtain the value of the remaining check bit to be determined, and updating the code word according to the obtained value of the check bit. The present disclosure also discloses a layered encoding device for an LDPC code, which can solve the problems that the memory space required is large and the time delay for encoding is long in existing LDPC encoding methods.
