PURPOSE: An air conditioning system using a linear expansion device is provided to maximize coefficient of performance(COP) by additionally decreasing dryness and temperatures of refrigerant in an inlet side of the evaporator. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system using a linear expansion device comprises a compressor(100), a condenser(200), an expansion valve(300), an evaporator(400), a refrigerant over cooling part(500), and a linear expansion device(600). The compressor compresses refrigerant. The condenser condenses the compressed refrigerant. The expansion valve expands the condensed refrigerant. The evaporator evaporates the expanded refrigerant by exchanging heat with the outdoor air. The refrigerant over cooling part overly cools the refrigerant, flowing into from the expansion valve, by exchanging heat between high temperature refrigerant, flowing into the expansion valve from the condenser, and lower temperature refrigerant, flowing into the compressor from the evaporator. The linear expansion device expands and reduces the refrigerant passing through the condenser in order to cool overly the refrigerant.
