An insulated tube comprising an inner protective layer of polyurethane or hard polyurethane foam plastic, an intermediate layer of polyurethane foam plastic insulation and an outer layer of glass fiber reinforced polyester resin. Reinforcing glass tissue layers might be present in the space between the inner and outer layers. The polyurethane foam plastic insulation is resistant to temperatures over 120 DEG C.
