<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for the cleavage groove in a sealed battery, which is formed on a side surface of a battery case having an electrode body and an electrolyte sealed therein and is less likely to cleave even when receiving an impact due to falling, while ensuring a function as a cleavage groove. <P>SOLUTION: A sealed battery 1 comprises a columnar battery case 2 having an electrode body and an electrolyte sealed thereinside. On the side surface of the battery case 2, a cleavage line which projectingly curves inward of the side surface of the battery case 2 in a side view is configured, and a cleavage groove 41 which cleaves along the cleavage line when a pressure in the battery case 2 becomes higher than a threshold is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
