PURPOSE: A method for recycling aluminum battery cans for a vehicle and a recycled battery can are provided to maximize the durability and heat insulation property of a battery can by employing an anodizing process. CONSTITUTION: A method for recycling aluminum battery cans for a vehicle comprises the steps of: separating an aluminum battery can from a vehicle battery, washing the separated battery can, removing an oxide film from the battery can, forming an aluminum oxide film on the surface of the battery can through an anodizing process, and post-processing the battery can.
