<p>The objective of the present invention is to alleviate the power consumption of an image projection apparatus for conducting color correction. The image projection apparatus is provided with: a light source means for radiating colored light having a plurality of colors; and a projecting means for modulating each of a plurality of colored light radiated by the light source means in accordance with an image data, and projecting an image onto a projection face. The image projection apparatus comprises: a storage means for storing therein projection face information that indicates the spectral reflectance of the projection face; and a correcting means for obtaining, upon receiving image data, correction values for correcting color deviation of the image at the projection face using the projection face information, controlling the light source means according to correction values, and correcting intensity values of the colored light to be radiated by the light source means.</p> |
