<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolutionary snow-melting device capable of exerting a nonconventional melting effect. <P>SOLUTION: A snow-melting device comprises: a first heat exchange section 2 arranged inside a stream channel 1 where melted snow and discharged water flow therethrough; a second heat exchange section 4 arranged in a snow-melting place 3 such as a road, a pedestrian walk or a parking space where snow accumulated thereon is to be melted; and a heat pump 5 continuously connecting the first heat exchange section 2 and the second heat exchange section 4.
